Carter Wildrick is a senior and the news editor of the Owl’s Hoot. Joining the Owl’s Hoot as a staff writer late in his freshmen year, he began writing a variety of articles on the Latin Club and various campus changes. Wildrick gradually increased his involvement in journalism throughout high school, receiving a THSPA award for outstanding title in his junior year. At MUS, Wildrick is the captain of the cross-country team, government club co-president, and Latin club consul. An avid runner and witty-statement enthusiast, one of his favorite quotations is that “one person can run really fast, but it takes a team to run really far.”
