Jackson Halpern is a junior and a managing editor of the Owl’s Hoot. He first began his journalism career in the 10th grade, working as a writer and eventually becoming a managing editor his junior year. Halpern is heavily involved with the mock trial program–being a top attorney on the team–and other public speaking activities. Outside of academic extracurriculars, he is a part of the CSO, Wilson Society and track team. Halpern does not like Oxford commas in the slightest.
