Kushal Das is a freshman at MUS. This year is his first on the Owl’s Hoot and his debut in writing journalistic articles. He is an award-winning essay-writer, winning the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) American History Essay Contest in both the seventh and eighth grade at the state level. He is an MUS Springfield Scholar and has gotten a perfect score on the National Latin Exam. Outside of school he swims, fences, and plays the flute. In his free time he likes to read and play video games.
