Ike Emmert, Managing Editor
Ike Emmert is a junior and a managing editor of the Owl’s Hoot. He began writing articles as a sophomore, before stepping into an editorial role his junior year. Outside of journalism, he is a decorated writer, having received a Gold Key, Silver Key, and two Honorable Mentions in the Scholastic Writing Awards. At MUS, he leads the DECA, Personal Finance, and FBLA sectors of the Business Club, serves as co-president of the AI & Ethics Club, and competes in VEX and FTC Robotics. This summer he worked as a 3D Modeling Intern for a start-up that creates instruments aiding in the disinfection of water. He is not a fan of poetry.
